A two-fold paper screen painted in ink on a gold ground with kachoga (birds and flowers) in a rocky river landscape. The scene is set in spring through to summer and depicts numerous birds including sagi (herons), tsubame (swallows) and a peahen along with various flora including kakitsubata (iris), ashi (water reeds) and kobushi (magnolia).
