This photography is part of a series realized in Sikasso with children playing the roles of animals. Each portrait tells a story. So many tales that have been passed down from generation to generation and which underlie the moral and social rules of the communities. Like chimeras born from these tales the masks worn by the children are a mirror to our human condition. They are deeply linked to these phantasmatic worlds which model our understanding of reality.
