Julien Vermeulen’s monumental panel Black Stone, made during the spring lockdown, translates his intense and symbolic vision of the present times. Winner of the Liliane Bettencourt Prize pour l’intelligence de la main in 2018, Julien Vermeulen’s 10-meter long installation Black Ocean has formerly been exhibited in the Palais de Tokyo in Paris.
