MUMMY TAPPING

The almost complete mummy tapping consists of several cut-out scenes: Ba bird with a Djed pillar and Shen ring above the sky and a kneeling goddess spreading her protective wings, holding two Maat feathers. Below, an embalming scene with Anubis, the deceased and the four goddesses Isis, Nephtis, Selkis and Neith. The lowest register consists of a decorative strip framed by the four sons of Horus.
